Prohibited items for import into Malaysia
The following commodities are not acceptable for transport by EZiPoz under any circumstances:
- Adhesive products (glue, silicone)
- Aerosol cans
- All genuses of Piranha fish
- All kinds of Alcohol-based / Flammable products (e.g. perfumes, cologne, toners, sanitizers etc)
- Animal (including insects, hatching eggs, birds, ivory)
- Animal oils and fats
- Antiques (breakable and/or fragile)
- Any device which intended to be prejudicial to the interest of Malaysia or unsuited with peace
- Any external battery/powerbank for smartphones or tablets devices
- Any food, supplement, drug or cosmetic that has been issued a Consumer Safety Advisory Warning by Authority (HSA or etc)
- Any meat, bones, hide, skin, hoofs, horns, offal or any part of the animal and poultry
- Any product that can be used in military, chemical or biological weapons, missile technology, or nuclear proliferation (e.g. handcuffs, leg cuffs, ankle cuffs, police-type batons, spraying and fogging systems)
- Any unidentifiable material, substance or chemical
- Apparatus/equipment for the brewing of beer in the home
- Arms and ammunition other than personal arms ammunition imported by bona fide traveler
- Art Works
- Articles, publications of a pornographic or obscene nature
- Asbestos
- Batik sarong
- Battery fluids
- Bleach
- Broadcast receivers capable of receiving radio communication within the ranges (68-87)MHz and (108-174) MHZ
- Bullet proof vests, steel helmets and other articles of clothing as protection against attack
- Bullion
- Candle
- Chewing gum
- Chewing tobacco, shisha tobacco and imitation tobacco products (e.g. electronic cigarettes, etc)
- Cigarette lighters in shapes of pistols or revolvers
- Cloth bearing the imprint or duplicate of any verses of the Quran
- Cocoa pods, rambutans, pulasan, longan and nam nam fruits from Philippines and Indonesia
- Compressed gas cylinders
- Controlled drugs and psychotropic substances
- Corals, live or dead
- Counterfeit or pirated goods or materials (including CD,VCD, and DVD)
- Credit cards, traveller's cheque, or passports
- Currency
- Daggers and flick knives
- Diamonds
- Drone
- Egg in the shells
- Electric domestic equipments that use 50 volt or 120 volt DC or more
- Endangered species of wildlife and their by-products
- Equipment to be connected to a public telecommunication network including but is not limited to mobile phones and modem
- Essential oils, diffuser oils, fragrance oil and perfume oil
- Explosives, fireworks, poisons, radioactive material, compressed gas, corrosive, firearms, flammables and any item which by its nature can potentially cause damage to other items or expose regulatory and customs officers to injury
- Fertilizers
- Firearms or partthereof, weapons and ammunition
- Fishes and fishery products (including fin fish, crustaceans and molluscs)
- Fuels
- Furs
- Gas torches
- Gold & Silver
- Hair mousse
- Hazardous or combustible materials (as defined in IATA Regulations)
- Household and agricultural pesticides
- Human remains, including ashes
- Imitation arms including toy guns, toy pistols, hand grenades
- Indecent printings, paintings, photographs, books, cards, lithographic, engravings, films, video tapes, laser discs, color slides, computer disc and any other media
- Intoxicating liquors containing more than 3.46 milligrams per liter in any lead or in any compound of copper
- Items that are not labeled in English (Dietary supplements/ Cosmetics/ Food)
- Items that require temperature-control
- Jewellery, bullions, antiques, precious metals and stones
- Laptop computers – No more than 1 laptop computer per package. Each package may not contain more than 1 lithium ion battery which must be contained within the laptop
- Laser apparatus such as laser pointers that are found to have emission powers
- Lighters with or without fuel/fluids
- Lightning arresters containing radioactive material
- Live animals-primates including ape, monkey, lemur, galago, potto and others
- Live fish
- Live plants
- Magnetic material
- Meat or animal extracts
- Medical samples (e.g. biological/diagnostic specimens, blood, urine, bodily fluids, etc.)
- Motor vehicles (including but not limited to, personal mobility devices, such as Hover board, Electric Scooter, Segway, Unicycle and power assisted bicycle. Item(s) received at Origin unable to process for redirect to another address)
- Nail polish & nail polish removers
- Narcotic drugs
- Nicotine
- Night Vision / Infra-Red Goggles and Binoculars
- Paint, Paint thinners & removers
- Parabola antenna for outdoor use
- Perishable foods (e.g., cheese, yoghurt, eggs)
- Pests and organisms which are capable of being injurious to plants
- Petroleum products
- Pets
- Pharmaceutical products
- Plants include parts and plant products
- Poisonous chemical
- Prescription drugs
- Processed egg
- Processed foods more than 5kg and above SGD100 (food products that are not classified as meat, seafood or fresh fruits and vegetables)
- Publications and audio materials (books, films, video tapes, discs) that are banned/controlled in Singapore by the MDA
- Radio communication being used for telecommunication in the frequency lower than 3000 GHz
- Radioactive material & waste
- Reproduction of copyright publications, video tapes, video compact discs, digital video discs, laser discs, records or cassettes
- Reproductions of any currency note, bank note or coin which are currently issued in any country
- Rice and padi including rice products
- Royal Expert Whitening Cream (HSA Website)
- Saccharin and its salt
- Safety helmets (except as worn by motorcyclists or motorcycle pillion riders)
- Seditious and treasonable materials
- Seeds / live plant
- Sharp knives (eg: hunting knives and swords)
- Shaving creams, after shaves, shaving gels
- Sodium arsenate
- Soil and pests including live insects, rats, snails and cultures of plant disease causing organisms
- Sprays (e.g. hairsprays, fragrance sprays, body sprays)
- Squalane (not 100% plant based)
- Supplements claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent animal diseases (HSA website)
- Tobacco products
- Toxic and/or hazardous wastes
- Treatments containing alcohol (e.g. Rogaine)
- Turpentine
- Turtle eggs
- Unlicensed drugs
- Video machines excluding game watches and video games for use with television receiver
- Weed killers
- Wireless earbuds - Wireless earbuds case contains Li Batt and acts like a portable charger. And this is prohibited from air transportation.
ILLICIT DRUGS
THE PUNISHMENT FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING IS DEATH BY HANGING.
Import and export of illicit drugs (eg: morphine, heroine, candu, marijuana, etc.) are strictly prohibited.
Prescribed drugs can only be imported or exported from Malaysia by virtue of a license issued by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

Prohibited items for export from USA
- All tobacco products, including but not limited to Cigars, E-Cigars, E-Liquids, etc.
- Any type of stand-alone batteries.
- Any additional battery/batteries that is packed in the same package but separated from the device.
- Alcohol products and beverages (Item(s) would be discard at Origin and unable to process for returns or redirect to another address)
- Counterfeit goods.
- Diamonds.
- Electronic device which contains battery purchased from eBay/ individual seller. (Used items shipped without manufacturer’s packaging do not comply and are illegal to ship)
- Engine oils / essential oils.
- External battery / power bank.
- Fuels, gasoline and gas torches.
- Flammable and toxic content products (e.g. products with Minoxidil, zinc oxide, Rosemary Oil and etc.)
- Firearms (or parts thereof).
- Infectious substances.
- Lighters with or without fuel and lighter fluid.
- Magnets.
- Munitions of war.
- Meat or animal extracts.
- Nail polish and nail polish removers.
- Narcotic drugs
- Pornographic materials.
- Perishable foods.
- Precious metals and gemstones.
- Paper currency, coins, credit cards and cheques.
- Perfumes, colognes, eau de toilette and fragrance sprays.
- Radioactive materials.
- Sprays, aerosol cans and compressed gas cylinders.
- Sanitizers.
- Turpentine and paint thinner.
- Weapons (swords / knives / guns, etc).
